Alan Turing in the Garden

I am indebted to Alan Turing’s nephew, Sir John Dermot Turing, for giving me permission to publish this photo as well as the portrait on my Alan Turing Web page.

Neither I nor Sir John is sure about where this photo was taken. Sir John thinks it might be a garden in Ennismore Avenue in Guildford and that the photo was taken some time during the war. If anybody would have any further information about the setting for this photo I should like very much to know.
